When memorials given total $50.00, a plaque with the person’s name is added to our “Wall of Honor”. We do appreciate all memorials and donations. Unless otherwise designated, they go toward the purchase of new books.

Duel to the Death by J A Jance (HC/RP) – This is the 13th book in the Ali Reynolds series. She is a former news anchor turned amateur sleuth. Read what crimes she solves.
The Rising Sea by Clive Cussler (HC/RP) – 15th in the NUMA Files series. Sea levels are rising and it’s not from climate change. A secret Chinese mining operation triggers the release of waters stored deep below the bottom of the sea and threatens to engulf the world.
The Escape Artist by Brad Meltzer (HC/RP) – Get ready to meet Nola. Her body was found on a plane as it fell f

rom the sky leaving a secret military base in Alaska. The US government confirmed her death, but, she’s very much alive and on the run.
The Lake House by Kate Morton (PB) - An 11 month old vanishes during a lavish party at an estate in England. He is never found. Decades later, his sister Alice is brought together with Sadie and they dig into the past. One reviewer writes, “I like to figure out what has occurred only to find myself wrong at the end”.
The Island by Elin Hilderbrand (PB) – A fast moving novel throwing sisters, daughters, ex-lovers and long kept secrets onto a remote island. Before summer ends, truths are uncovered, old loves re-kindled and new loves make themselves known.
Chasing Shadows by Karen Harper (HC/LP) – 1st in the South Shore series. Claire Britten is a forensic psychologist whose razor sharp intuition usually has her expert testimonies winning cases. She’s recruited for a team that investigates unusual cases involving mysterious deaths. This book ends in a cliff-hanger but, no worries, the Finley Library has the next books in the series.
The Disappeared by C J Box (HC/RP) – When a prominent executive vanishes from a high-end guest ranch, Joe Pickett is hired to track her down. But, the closer Joe gets to the truth, the more someone wants him to go away.
Fiddlers by Ed McBain (HC/RP) – This seems to be the finale to the 87th Precinct mysteries. If you’ve read the 54 books in the series, maybe this is the end.
