Just a friendly reminder to you to come to the Open House and Book Sale that will be held on Thursday, June 8 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. We’ll have lots of books for sale. Paperbacks will be priced 5 for $1.00 and hardcover books for 50 cents each. We’ll have bags for you to fill up with your new books.
We’ve had lots of books donated it the past couple of weeks. We appreciate them so very much. I’ll list a few, but, in case you didn’t know, we shelve the newest books in a special place for the first 3 months we have them. The most recent paperbacks are in shelves in the main office and the hard cover regular print and large print are on shelves right inside the main room of the library. Check it out!

Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman HC/LP This one has been on the New York Times best seller list for several weeks. The publisher calls it an instant classic. The author presents dazzling versions of the great Norse myths.
Ready to Die by Lisa Jackson HC/RP A roller coaster ride of romantic suspense.
The Silence that Speaks by Andrea Kane HC/RP A mystery with just the right amount of suspense, wit and comic relief.
Room by Emma Donoghue HC/RP Room is where Jack and Ma have been confined since before he was born. This is a story of a mother’s love in harrowing circumstances.
The Postcard by Beverly Lewis An Amish woman who lost her husband and son comes home with her young daughter to help her aging parents run a bed and breakfast.
We now have the last 2 books Debbie Macomber’s Dakota series. Come and get Dakota Home and Always Dakota.
Large print paperbacks that are new: Heart’s Haven, Her Wedding Wish, The Doctor’s Bride, Mountain Sanctuary, A Soldier’s Family and Next Door Daddy.
A new non-fiction WWII novel is Assault in Norway, Sabotaging the Nazi Nuclear Program by Thomas Gallagher.
